

With more than 40 years of experience, Frederick W. Hockenjos has been enjoying a career in the insurance business. His primary areas of expertise are property and casualty insurance, risk management, and employee benefits. After graduating from Duke University in 1974, Fred began his career in his father’s insurance agency. In 1989 he became a partner at BJ Associates. His designations include Accredited Advisor of Insurance and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow. He has enjoyed guest lecturing at Brigham Young University for 17 years.
His business focus is to listen and connect to a large base of experts; finding appropriate planning and insurance solutions for our clients. Blessed to be the father of a special needs daughter, Fred seeks to assist others within the special needs community with their planning. Additionally, Fred holds his health and life insurance licenses in 14 states across the U.S.
Fred and his wife, Cathy, live in Madison, New Jersey and are the proud parents of five children and 15 grandchildren. When he is not working or spending time with his family he enjoys serving in his Church. Having played basketball at Duke University, he continues to embrace his passion for the game. Fred was born in Newark, New Jersey, and has resided in the state all of his life.
